This could happen to any one of us at any time.
Wrong house. Disgruntled former employee lying to the cops about you. Ex-spouse looking to get full custody ... basically anything ... The militarized police in this country are the hammer, and EVERYTHING looks like a nail to them.
Most people I know who have never broken any laws would have no reason to think SWAT was raiding their house at 5am, so they would greet loud intruders with a weapon in hand ... and likely die.

I read somewhere that this is indicative of a further militarization of police forces around the country...Some Veterans coming back from the war,some feel they need to keep up the edge, and get their “jazz” fix from raids like this...
