DALLAS - At 2:00 in the afternoon on May 13, Dallas reported its thirteenth murder of the month.
UPDATE: 14 Murders in 14 days
A sudden five-percent spike in killings comes after years of declines.
Detectives can't explain it, though some have suggested that the economy might be to blame.
However, one thing is clear: the homicide unit is scrambling to keep up with the unsolved cases.
Earlier this week, a security guard was killed when he walked in on a robbery at a Wing Stop on Buckner Boulevard. Investigators are seeking the killer.
And at 2 p.m. today, a man was killed in the 10,000 block of Cricket in southeast Dallas. The shooter remains on the run.
“Of course on the flip side, I’ve seen collisions so bad in parking lots, it’s caused roll overs...no joke.”
Probably electric cars, right? Or mall cop-mobiles? Naw, I believe you. Big city drivers can get a little nuts.
“The shooter remains on the run.”
Anyone see him?
Also the cop groupies who defend every bad cop.
To be honest, I don’t know.
The illegals are no doubt a big factor.
Yep.
When I answered about “cop haters” the topic was about obsessions, not good or bad cops.
Exposing corruption, threats to liberties, and questionable government actions, was once an honorable thing.
Again, my answer was concerning obsessions. You are on another subject.

No, you feel someone posting articles regarding police over reaching, police/government corruption and questioning police tactics as an obsession and you suggested they must be "cop haters". I see it as an honorable thing.
Here’s another “obsessive” poster, in the 3 years he’s been here he’s posted hundreds of posts about homosexuals/homosexuality, as a matter of fact you won’t find one single comment or article in his posting history on any other subject. I just find it weird that he has no interest in any other subject.

If your accusing someone of being obsessed about police/government corruption, or questionable tactics, etc, you should probably ping them so they could at least defend themselves or state their position.
It wouldn't matter, as he has never answered a question or post that wasn't about his only subject, never.
What do you have against someone exposing, or posting articles regarding police/government intrusion, corruption or questionable tactics? Shouldn’t this be welcomed?
Obsessions.
You go ahead and take the last word, as if it’s in you to have it any other way.

Yes, I know you said obsessions, multiple times, yet I've asked you multiple questions which went completely unanswered, like this below:
What do you have against someone exposing, or posting articles regarding police/government intrusion, corruption or questionable tactics? Shouldnt this be welcomed?
The cop hater comes to mind.
Yep. Pissant and Willie Green also come to mind. Like our Texas loving friend, their obsessions finally became too much for management to stomach any longer.
This article has *never* been posted previously. No one ever saw it here, until I posted it.
I've been on this site almost 10 year before you ever showed up, and you demand or suggest I be banned?
You're a very thin skinned person, who simply can't stand any news story regarding Texas you dislike, or disapprove of. They're not politically correct according to your standards. It's not me, it's the *articles* you hate.
I posted this because nobody else did, or has the balls to, likely because of fear of people like you. It's dangerous to step outside the fray, and do things others like you dislike.
After nearly 14 years in this neighborhood, if I ever get banned for posting an article from an acceptable source, which has never been posted previously, because it makes you angry, I will *welcome* it, because that is something I would not wish to be associated with.
I don't need you running around me attempting to censor news articles, and suggesting I be censored or eliminated because you dont want to see them.
I am growing a little tired of your petty harassment, your crying and whining over articles never posted previously, simply because you don't want them seen.
If the article is not accurate or biased, most people attempt to refute it. While others from Texas actually commented on this article, you never once commented on the article, and have only attacked me from your very first post.
Its clear, based on your responses, your entire motive here is to eliminate *me*, so some of these stories are never seen here, simply because you live in Texas and don't want to see news you don't like.
Your attempts to censor or eliminate me, should be enough to make most everyone on this site, recoil in disgust.
I’ve explained my position to you countless times, yet you persist in misrepresenting what I’ve said to you, again and again.
For the last time, my issue with you isn’t that you post articles that are critical of the state of Texas. I take issue with the fact that you’ve made something of a hobby of it on this forum.
It’s become your signature topic of discussion here. You’re the resident Texas basher.
Why you harbor so much ill will toward Texas, I have no idea, and frankly, I’m not really all that curious to know. From where I sit, it just looks like an irrational obsession on your part.
For the record, I’m not complaining because I happen to live in Texas. I’d be turned off by a consistent, and ongoing tirade against any US state. It’s just wasteful, divisive, and of little benefit to the overall discourse here.
Again - my complaint has nothing to do with you posting articles that have already been posted.
This is not about you breaking any forum rules.
This is not about me being overly sensitive about the state I reside in.
This is not a personal attack against you.
I would object if someone made a habit out of posting negative articles about your state for all of the reasons I’ve brought to your attention over the last year.
This isn’t about you. It’s about what you’re doing, and the corrosive effect it has on this community.
You are a blatant liar. Out of thousands of members, you are the only one who consistently complains, disrupts threads and attacks me ever time you see a thread about Texas, you don't like or approve of.
I strongly advise you to cease this harassment, libel, malicious and vindictive behavior.
