So we can stomp all over the constitutional rights of citizens but we can’t torture? Really?

I’ll agree if they start with the Obamaloon and McKennedy.
No trial.
No contact with anyone.
Forever.
Oh, more votes from me if they take McKennedy’s bimbo daughter with them.

If you can’t make bail, you can be in jail for years without a trial.

Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) has introduced a bill that would allow the President to imprison an unlimited number of American citizens (as well as foreigners) indefinitely without trial. So, Obama will then be able to designate conservatives as "enemy belligerents"! I guess he can then make the North Slope of Alaska USA's Siberia.
Enjoy your new home, Freepers!

So holding them indefinitely without trial is OK - but you had BETTER invoke the physical reaction to drowning on them while they sit there - imprisoned by a Government that doesn't recognize their natural right to a trial by jury of his peers.
This is so Unconstitutional I was looking to see if it was satire or not!
They say it is hard to write satire these days.....

The Constitution and the Bill of Rights mean nothing to these idiots. The slippery slope of rationalizing the assault on our rights and liberties will ultimately end in a new country, the USSA!

As the detainment of citizens on no basis is distinctly UNCONSTITUTIONAL, and as this man is a SWORN representative of the US Constitution, I point out that this man McCain is committing Treason and therefore is an Enemy Belligerent. Because of this, I feel he should be the first and last to fall under this ruling.
Please... Take him away...

“enemy belligerent “
That will soon mean any person who doesn’t think like a Democrat/Muslim/Communist, if it doesn’t already.
That’s the end of America the exceptional, land of the free and home of the brave. And the judges already say the police can just walk (or break) into your house and . . .

Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) has introduced a bill that would allow the President to imprison an unlimited number of American citizens (as well as foreigners) indefinitely without trial. Known as The Enemy Belligerent Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010, or S. 3081, the bill authorizes the President to deny a detainee a trial by jury simply by designating that person an enemy belligerent. And this guy still got reelected. I did not know he had introduced this bill then, just reading about this right now. Why I fully expect he will shed his sheep's clothing and let the whole world see him as the wolf he really is. Oh and the lord McCain lovers ... b i t e me!
Why he is every bit as much anti-Constitution as BamBamKennedy... Seems it would not have matter much who got elected president in 2008.
