Gingrich has long felt that each individual should be responsible for paying for their own healthcare. Some statistics indicate 1/3 of the uninsured live in household with incomes over %75000...he believes everyone should pay on a sliding scale with vouchers going to lower income types...that’s part of his solution...

I have NO problem with individual responsibility. However, Obamacare mandates everything that has anything to do with healthcare. NO individual truly can have responsibility for their own healthcare when government commissions themselves as the controller and provider of all things healthcare.

And that’s the rub ... Obamacare replaces the current insurance system with an exchange and the like...Gingrich’s belief is basically keeping private insurance but subsidizing the poor’s portion...world of difference between the two...

A man in Massachusetts called in to the Savage show the other day and said he pays for his own insurance - with a $10,000 deductible - and has the $10,000 set aside in a separate account for just that.

BUT

Mass. says NO. and is fining him in lieu of buying Romney Care.

It's not medical coverage they want - it's total control.

this 3,000+ page bill has much more to do with other controls over our lives than it does medical care. That is only the smoke screen.
