Something else... longer-distance moves is calculated by weight. So, if you have quite a library of books, cd's, weightlifting/exercise equipment, power tools, bank statements & receipts, etc... try to exclude them from that move. Perhaps rent a pickup truck or a van and move those yourself, or store them elsewhere (friend's place/rental spot) until you can get them out.

Have a yard sale/garage sale...

Try to sell the stove/refrigerator/washer/dryer/lawnmower with the house.

My biggest issue is how I will move all those wines/liquors without breaking them. I may just have to make presents of some, and have a 'clean out the liquor cabinet' party.

Estimate was based on a count of boxes.
Price was based on a weigh of boxes.
Biiiiiig difference in my case.

Methinks next time I’ll just buy a truck, use it, and sell it. Net should be near $0.
