BOJr. does not meet the eligibility requirements of Article II because of his non-citizen father.
His solution to this problem has always been to withold his birth certificate and encourage speculation on his place of birth, effectively changing the conversation from the area of his ineligibility...parentage, to the only area that complied with the NBC requirement....that is, birth in the US.
All the while Obama could have released his BC at any time, but held off waiting for some naive fool to make the much ridiculed “birther” issue a prominate issue.
Enter Trump, who on cue, played Obama’s game forcefully questioning place of birth, easily proved from the start by Obama, instead of the correct area of ineligibility .... foreign parentage.
Trump’s very vocal questioning of place of birth reminds me of briar rabbit being tossed in the briar patch after begging his captor...”Don’t throw me in the Briar patch....oh no don’t throw me there!
Trump couldn’t resist Briar Obama’s plea and insisted, “forcing Obama” according to WH aides, on seeing where Obama was born.
When the noise reached a crescendo of howling Trump birther fever.... you guessed it Obama produces a BC with a flourish showing Hawaiian birth..... and, in the minds of a now disapoint and disinterested public, taking the NBC issue off the table.
Ask me, and I’ll say I’m glade such a naive fool as Trump will not have the opportunity to do similiar screwups in the oval office.
