When he came to the area, My husband (with the Sheriffs Dept) would meet him at the hotel to provide escort to the fields.(He arrived from the airport in a chauffeur driven limo and dressed in $500 suits (this is the early '70's) - go into the hotel and change into well worn work clothes, come out and get into a old "clunker" and drive to the fields.
