"Except for the folks that can't afford the mandated insurance"

IF everyone gets a waiver there IS no mandated insurance.

If a law isn't good for ALL, it isn't good for ANY.

Exactly. Just the fact that the "law" can be "waived" by administration for individuals, groups of individuals (unions etc.), organizations, cities, or entire states (e.g., Nevada, New Hampshire, Maine) shows that the law should be struck down as unconstitutional as it violates the "Equal Protection Under the Law" Clause.

If a waiver can be granted / dispensed as a political favor, it is nothing less than crony socialism, nothing more than a lawless corrupt scheme... but it is no longer a "law".

The existence of these waivers could be either an enhancement of an argument against illegal federal individual mandates in existing or new lawsuits against ObamaCare, or an argument in court to invalidate the waivers from administration.

Let those who wanted ObamaCare live with it, in full compliance, without waivers, and feel the full force of the "law".

You missed my point. Under the Obama system, if you can't afford insurance, the government pays for it. If the government was going to pay for my insurance, I wouldn't care whether there was a mandate or not, I'd take the free insurance.

And if that happens the whole system breaks down. It is only feasible if everyone participates. The waiver I suggest breaks the system down, by accellerating what’s already happening with medicare.

Ding, Ding, Ding - we have a winner. That has been the plan from day one. The private insurance system comes crashing down and the government comes to the rescue with socialized medicine.
