In the Bill of Rights, all rights are given to individual citizens save one. The press is the only organization that our nations founders gave special privileges to because they saw the need for a free press to keep tabs on the elect officials.

Here’s my suggestion to President Obama: Veer off your scripted schedule and come in to Boston to say hello to ordinary voters. And don’t be afraid to let a Herald reporter tag along. We don’t bite. Yeah, meeting a Boston reporter and a bunch of massholes would be a real profile in courage.
