If it wasn’t for the “Bush” name, Jeb would have been a shoo-in to win in 2012.

Sadly, I don’t think Mitch Daniels is viable for the simple reason that short and bald does not sell. Perry has Romney’s looks without the other baggage.

“On the plus side it would get him out of Texas.”

Better than that, he might even let the whole state secede.
You’d be gettin lot of company then.

Or maybe we could get that Kinky guy you got down there in Texas. I mean now that Trump is out. He’d make for good copy.

If my establishment endorsed choices are Romney, Newt, Daniels, Pawlenty and Perry, Perry is my choice - even if he is an Aggie.

If you think that Perry is Romney then you don’t know much about Mitt Romney, no one is a Mitt Romney, there are reasons that Mitt Romney is truly and thoroughly despised by conservatives, and not merely disapproved, or disliked.

See my tagline. Nobody gets my vote just because there’s an “R” behind their name. Because that “R” usually stands for rino.

Perry has a lot of baggage to shed relative to his actions on promoting the North American highway which would allow free access of Mexican trucks into all USA. The most recent example of two truckloads of illegals being prepared to ship into USA is only an indicator of things intended. There is other baggage as to abortion, etc.

Hey, Google “Amirault”. Romney is evil. But Perry is the same type of blow-dried phony who speaks in sound bites.

Lets see:

Amnesty? Check!
Open borders? Check!
Radical abuse of eminent domain? Check!

Goodhair is all set to run against Obama....in the Democrat Primaries.

Got anyone better? And by better I mean someone who can win.

Unlike you personally, the majority of Freepers don't want people who have a habit of seizing private property through eminent domain and then selling it to developer cronies to win any office.

You made no assertion that you don't know anything about Perry's record, so it is fair to assume you sign off on it.

If you feel that I am being unfair to you in any way, do a key word search on the Trans Texas Corridor. Try TTC.

Personally, I think a Perry presidency would be a repeat of the Bush presidency - for better and worse.

I thought he was also in the pocket of some pharmaceutical company when he tried to force young girls to get immunized.

My apologies. Was not aware of Eisenhowers’ home state. Ok, I revise my comment. There have been three Presidents from Texas. TWO have been unmittigated economic disaters, the one that was not was named Eisenhower.

Better?
