Progressive. The name should have been a tip off.

I always found those commercials irritating, and now I have more reason.

Here in B.C. a Crown Corporation (i.e. government agency) has the monopoly on auto insurance. Just like government health care — there is no private sector alternative.
Wouldn’t it be ironic (a notable schadenfreude moment) if the “progressives” that Progressive donates to instituted government auto insurance?

I wonder how many “conservatives” will cancel their insurance. Probably not many.

Old news. This guy has been the American Soros for decades. Just a couple years ago this POS gave the ACLU a $1 mill bailout when all their rich contributors took a hit when Wall Street melted down. Above all of that, his company has the crappies insurance you can buy. Terrible customer service and always trying to cheat you on payouts. Makes sense since he is a corrupt Progressive.

Youve seen and smiled at the Progressive Insurance TV commercials with the cute, but slightly ditsy brunette dressed in white. You and I, my friend, have very different definitions of "cute." From the first commercial I thought she was a failed attempt by Madison Avenue to come up with an edgy and memorable characature, trying too hard to be funny and coming off as predictable and annoying.

I don’t buy their crappy, over priced insurance. And they will give you the shaft if you ever file a claim. I have heard that from several of their victims.

Old News about Progressive.
Just another bunch of ignorant Communists who are content to make billions off the very capitalist system they are attempting to destroy.
The very definition of jaw-dropping idiocy.

If anyone wants an insurance company that will defend you in a lawsuit if you have to defend yourself in your home, you can pm me.
Most companies offer no coverage at all. A few will but will only defend you IF you are determined by a judge or jury to be innocent and then you get sued later by the criminal or their family. The initial case and costs (at least 40-50 grand) falls on you. This company, will decide for itself based on what you tell them and the police reports/evidence and if they believe you acted in self defense, will defend you in court. If they believe there’s no case and you did act in self defense, they will fight because there’s no reason for them to pay out any money to the criminal you injured or killed in self defense.
Why would a home insurance company do this? Because of your homeowners’ liability clauses. They go after your insurance company for compensation.

Progressive's commercials have always been stupid; that terrible looking black haired woman the the simping customers is enough to make one put one's shoe through the new Visio flat screen TV.
But enough about progressive (their name says it all, don't it!!??).
Hows about somebody on FR doing the research to identify those insurance companies that are solidly or even leaning to the right?
To: MindBender26
Never trust anything with ‘progressive’ or ‘fair’ in the name! :)
