NEW YORK – Police cut out a piece of carpet from a hotel room in a search for DNA evidence in the attempted-rape case against IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn, law enforcement officials told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
New York Police Department detectives and prosecutors believe the carpet may contain Strauss-Khan's semen spat onto the carpet after an episode of forced oral sex, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

I’m waiting with baited breath for the frogs to break off diplomatic relations over this deal. Greta had some woman from the French press on last night who was saying that the Parisians are all wrapped around the axle about our perp walking this guy in public (she said “it just isn’t done there”). Tough toenails, that’s how we do it and I am hoping that if the guy is guilty, he goes to jail just like anyone else. And it will be payback for their despicable behavior with respect to Roman Polanski’s extridition!

I'd be checking all the security cameras...and HER keycard...find out who she's $%^&* on the hotel staff....and check his keycard....
If she's cleaned his room before, pretty easy for her to gather some DNA...just hair from his pillow or comb would be sufficient.
