liberal media slime tactics

The words rightwing social engineering came directly from Newt's mouth, no slime necessary. I can't recall which Freeper used this line in a post, but i thought it described Newt's situation perfectly-- "you can't undo seppuku".

I was about to comment on the “outsiders” claim too. Newt is an insider to a greater degree than anyone else pretending to be a possible candidate. I used to think or at least hope that he was a conservative insider. I was wrong. He’s just a big government patriarch who puts on the GOP jersey.

Sorry Newt. You can't un-kick a pile a dog sh*t.

So do something useful now. Like go home and write another book.

It’s not a slime tactic to quote what the Newt said about a fellow republican. How brilliant does someone have to be to call defunding the socialist health care monstrosity “right wing activism”. For that matter is right wing activism really that bad, and is it really something that a republican candidate for president really needs to focus on? Our country has been pulled, kicking and screaming, leftward for at least the last 100 years by left-wing activists that lied about their motives and their allegiance. Now we have people trying to combat it and this “brilliant, excellent debater” calls them to task? Who’s side is he on? Yes I would be happy for him to shut up.

you have to admit the man is brilliant

No, I don't. If he's so smart why does he think he has a chance to be the president when most of his own party can't stand him personally, and the opposing party can't stand him in general? That's not brilliant. That's deeply delusional, if not downright stupid.

I listened to Gingrich on the Mark Levin show. In between the lines, the “I,I,I,I,I,” and how long he has been working on health care, and how you can’t rush this, what I heard was “wait, let me do this so I could take credit. He must be so jealous of Ryan.

Newt is the perfect example of why I don’t want another Professional Politician as my President

They fired timidly at first, then the sheep not wanting to be dropped from the establishment’s cocktail party invite list unloaded their entire clip, firing without taking aim their distortions and falsehoods.

All of Newt's gunshot wounds are self inflicted. People (namely his employer Fox News) have been telling us for years how brilliant Newt is. I recall the era of Newt (1994-1999) as being pompous, weak, ineffective and childish. I don't remember brilliant.

“Out of the billowing smoke and dust of tweets and trivia emerged Gingrich, once again ready to lead those who won’t be intimated by the political elite and are ready to take on the challenges America faces.”

Wow!

Newtie's just like Captain America...

...or was that Cap'n Crunch?

LOL...Rick evidently is practicing his best purple prose for the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest that gives prizes for lines such as, “It was a dark and stormy night.” Obviously, he is a strong contender.

He saw himself as the bearer of the torch, the keeper of the Reagan legacy

Only when it is convenient and necessary.

January 14, 2008, Newt Gingrich said on This Week with George Stephanopoulos:

Best reason I can think of to ban Twitter and trivia, if that's the end result.
