I appreciate that there are those who feel we should not support any country with aid. I cannot say I disagree a lot with that.
However, in that part of the world we need a friend. And Israel has been that friend.
And personally, I think it is more in our interest to support them, and their values, than those of the Arabs who want to kill them first, and us second.
If you are advocating telling them ALL to GFT, I am cool with that. But I will also not stand for another holocaust of the Jews. And I am so NOT jewish, just someone that thinks enough is enough.

It all begain in earnest in the 1970s when Nixon started massive aid to Egypt as a means to "balance" even more massive aid to Israel. If you really want to end aid to the Arabs, you'll oppose aid to Israel because it is, and always been, a package deal.
