I suspect rum, sodomy, and the lash were involved.

How can you speak against something if you don't know how to do it yourself? This guy is an expert in domestic violence now.

Slim, stick to the subject. We are not discussing DKS and The Sofitel Maid here ... or the Royal Navy!

This charming vignette actually should make the Pogues better speakers on "Domestic Violence." After all, now they have hands-on experience, and their OJT also now extends to the police and legal processes involved.

They have been there, Done that.

This was disorderly conduct, not domestic violence. I'm not sure what the difference is, but it appears that there is one.

I laughed at your post, but don't tell anyone.

Just on the face of it...you need 2 for domestic violence, whereas I can be charged with disorderly conduct all my self.

Not exactly. There would have to be at least one other person there to observe your conduct and react to it.

Just a guess, but they were probably yelling at each other loud enough that somebody called the cops. The cops showed up and they proceded to yell at the cops instead of settling down and promising to behave themselves.

- Case files in court say that Pogue and his wife were issued partial protective orders prohibiting them from assaulting, harassing or stalking each other.

Did Mrs. Pogue dare to say she wanted to ditch her iPhone and buy a Droid?

The Pogues made some great music back in the 1990s & 1980s. :)

Well of course, but the distinction is that the observer isn't being harmed like the victim in domestic violence.

Unless, of course, they're looking at me run naked around the flag pole.
