Big mistake. If I were writing this movie, he would figure out a way to escape back to France, where he would be untouchable. I wonder how you say “nanner, nanner, nanner” in French. I hope they have thought to freeze all of his assets.
I feel so sorry for his victim. I can imagine all the pressure that will be put on her to recant. The French probably have a line on her family back in Africa..this guy is ruthless. She has to stay locked away and he gets to roam Manhattan and enjoy whores at his apartment.

It’s news, and it was just announced. If that is not breaking news, I’m not sure what is.
He’ll be back in France in no time at all. I heard the bail was $1 million - he could spend that on breakfast and not notice it.
Poor lady. If only I knew where to send her my sympathy. I’m so worried this creep will abscond and New Yorkers - again - will hold the bag for bad Europeans who have always used this great city as a sewer and whorehouse. If we could get the UN OUT of New York (I know, I know, he wasn’t with the UN), we would be so much safer.
I she gone? Hmm. His wife is RICH, he married well......so I would guess it depends on how rich she is....he may need that million $ bail money to live on if she throws him out. It will be interesting to watch it all unfold. There has been speculation that France could give him new papers to travel on, so the loss of his passport might not mean much.
I’m gussing some judge in some court somewhere caved in to the pressure and enourmous power of the French who claim this was a set-up.

$1 million dollar bond? What a disgrace! Someone either high up in the adminstration - or Mr. Bill Clinton himself - is interfering in this crime.
