Sarah Palin: I do have the fire in my belly to run in 2012 (Video - On The Record Tonight w/Greta)
Right Scoop ^ | Thursday May 19, 2011

Posted on 05/19/2011 8:16:58 PM PDT by Bigtigermike

She says that she definitely has the fire in her belly to fight to put America back on the right track:

"I think my problem is that I do have that fire in my belly. I am so adamantly supportive of the good traditional things about America and our free enterprise system and I want to make sure that America is put back on the right track and we only do that by defeating Obama in 2012. I have that fire in my belly."

Right before this Sarah also took another slam at Newt Gingrich, and a good one too:

You know what I thought after the whole Newt Gingrich thing in these last 24 hours, Greta, was ‘bless his heart and every other Good Ol’ boy’s heart that’s in that political game there in the beltway. They don’t really know any more than the rest of us.’

Greta, it was Newt Gingrich who told me in January of this year “Sarah Palin needs to slow down and really think through what it is she has to say.” Well you know, he stumbles too. We all stumble. We all have our strengths and our weaknesses."

The entire interview is great. Enjoy!

IPads self corects typing on the fly and can do some strange things. If I am tired I miss a lot of stuff, which I notice the next morning. Oh well I gave up on the spelling/gramme cops long ago, if people can read and make sense of the txting world shorthand, then they should be able to interpret the typos correctly. Of course there has to be something to complain about, else we wlould still have threads that ran into the thousands of responses. Wonder why we don’t still?

I make plenty of mistakes myself. And on occasion someone will make me aware of my errors. I just got a laugh literally out loud as I read the post. And I wanted the poster to know IT made me laugh. What some of the English majors do not know or maybe even care is that public education stopped teaching the 'rules' of the language decades ago. Since IM and texting became popular methods of communication on the fly I myself struggle to blend the 'rules' of the language to the time/space driven shortcuts.

Palin has shown an ability to take them on and that has them rightfully worried. They’ve tried everything. It is now up to Palin to voice her own opinions without the weight that was McCain and having to take into account he was the top of the ticket and his campaign made the decisions. She is free to go rogue.

I don’t really understand your question.

I’m supporting Sarah running, because she does have leadership qualities and skills, she’s a fighter, and she can beat Obama.

I’m saying Michelle Bachmann should not be on the top of the GOP ticket, because she does not really have leadership qualities, at least not that I can see, I don’t think she can be elected president currently.

I’m not really sure why you’re asking if I’m sexist, my judgement is based upon who can win a presidential election, not what sort of reproducitve organs a person has...

Technically speaking there were no typos. But the words 'doe snot' made me laugh out loud.

The question then becomes for you...

If SHE feels the time is right and runs.....Will YOU support her against Obama?
YES or NO is suffice

The problem with Bachmann is she hasn’t been put through what Palin has....” “ Her demonization is yet to come...”

I so agree with you. Unfortunately, Hillary set the standard for a female candidate, on laser knowledge of foreign relations, policy, political savy, dealing with media, etc., and the media will accept nothing less from the next female contender. The voters expect the next woman candidate to be just as prepared, no matter which side of the aisle. You could disagree with Hillary, but you couldn’t fault her grasp of an issue. Palin sorrowfully doesn’t come close and is obsessed with the media who handed her her head. Bachman remains a question mark.

Good Lord. I like Bachmann, but she is in absolutely no position to run for president. She’ll be the Republican mirror opposite of Dennis Kucinich. What little she does do will be to draw attention away from Palin while reinforcing a media template.

You're opinion couldn't be further from the truth.

I've listened to Sarah for some time now, I've also listened to Hillary.

Hillary's grasp of the Left-wing agenda position on any particular issue is crystal clear, but her grasp on how to solve problems is woefully inadequate.

Sarah, on the other hand, has the answers.

Commonsense, conservative answers to the problems plaguing America today.

Psssst!

Your PDS is showing again!

You must be joking. Hillary has recently said that Aljazeera offers the best news, Basher Assad is a reformer and Israeli settlements are “illegitimate”. She is nothing but another Marxist, anti-Semitic crackpot. Not to mention a pathological liar. The media gave her a free pass. She ain’t half as smart as her sycophants believe. Bob

You and I watched over the years two totally different women....'you know' Hillary let a young pup still in political diapers pull her destiny right out from under her powerful weight. Your words praising Hillry are NOT going unnoticed.

Those that bring forth the filth against that American family will only swell her supporters numbers. Most of America already thinks that obama is antiAmerican and that wont bode well come election time.
