IPads self corects typing on the fly and can do some strange things. If I am tired I miss a lot of stuff, which I notice the next morning.
Oh well I gave up on the spelling/gramme cops long ago, if people can read and make sense of the txting world shorthand, then they should be able to interpret the typos correctly.
Of course there has to be something to complain about, else we wlould still have threads that ran into the thousands of responses. Wonder why we don’t still?
I make plenty of mistakes myself. And on occasion someone will make me aware of my errors. I just got a laugh literally out loud as I read the post. And I wanted the poster to know IT made me laugh. What some of the English majors do not know or maybe even care is that public education stopped teaching the 'rules' of the language decades ago. Since IM and texting became popular methods of communication on the fly I myself struggle to blend the 'rules' of the language to the time/space driven shortcuts.
