ANCHORAGE, Alaska Track Palin, the oldest child of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, has married.
Palin, 22, recently married his high school sweetheart, 21-year-old Britta Hanson, People magazine reported Thursday.
"Yes, they did & we couldn't be any more blessed!" Sarah Palin tweeted Thursday afternoon.

You’re right about that; they all look nice and natural and happy. Certainly a lot to be desired over the de rigeur weddings this day and age where thousands upon thousands of dollars are spent that no one can really afford, just on the outside chance that someone will be impressed. (In many cases, the couples divorce within a year or two after the fancy wedding. They forget the part about the MARRIAGE in favor of a big WEDDING).
True, especally since Chelsea would probably be more likely to show up at the abortion mill!
Best wishes to the young couple. I hope they will be very happy.
“Track is already being criticized for getting married in blue jeans. I think they all look nice and natural and happy.”
I totally agree with you. Of course the elites would make fun of these sweet kids. As a person who had a very small fiscally responsible wedding (25 years ago and still going strong), I can say with conviction that the wedding does not make the marriage!
Better they should waste money on a $2,000,000 wedding like Chelsea Clinton /sarc
In Feb wasn’t that their problem - that she wanted to start a family and her husband didn’t? He quit his job and took off for a bit on his own.
Notice AP uses the word ‘child’ to describe Track, rather than oldest ‘son’.
Chelsea married the son of a felon and the wedding cost 4 million dollars, but they all had on formal clothes.
It isn’t the clothes that make the family sarah has more class in her blue jeans than Hillary will ever have in all of her finery.
To be fair, the article refers to their having four other children and a grandchild.
I see nothing wrong with this story. It’s a positive event positively covered. Had the media ignored it, they’d have been accused of only covering the bad news—or the weddings of Democrats’ children, like Chelsea’s.
(And I think the MSM are evil and what they have overall done to Sarah Palin is unconscionable.)
SMACK!
Outstanding.
Criticized for wearing blue jeans? Oh the horror of it, last time I looked, blue jeans are clothes sure as grits are groceries.
Wife and I got married one Saturday morning at l0 am. We then changed clothes, went to the field and picked cotton (for three dollars a hundred weight) until dark. Our wedding dinner consisted of the father-in-law buying us a foot long chili dog at the old Log Cabin drive-in. We had neither the proverbial pot to pee in, or a window to throw it out of.
But, we have remained married for over 50 years. IMO, way too much is made of how a couple is married, and to little of what is in their hearts, as to love and commitment in making that marriage work. Without both committing to see a marriage through warts and all, it is all to often doomed from the start.
I wish the happy newlyweds well. I presume that Levi Johnson wasn’t invited.
Thats great to hear. So I geuss he’s going to college and is not doing the fisherman business thing. Maybe he can play for the hockey team.
I wonder if Levi will really run for Mayor of Wasilla.
That’s what I like about the Palins: Unconventional.
