Track is already being criticized for getting married in blue jeans. I think they all look nice and natural and happy.

You’re right about that; they all look nice and natural and happy. Certainly a lot to be desired over the de rigeur weddings this day and age where thousands upon thousands of dollars are spent that no one can really afford, just on the outside chance that someone will be impressed. (In many cases, the couples divorce within a year or two after the fancy wedding. They forget the part about the MARRIAGE in favor of a big WEDDING).

I totally agree with you. Of course the elites would make fun of these sweet kids. As a person who had a very small fiscally responsible wedding (25 years ago and still going strong), I can say with conviction that the wedding does not make the marriage!

Better they should waste money on a $2,000,000 wedding like Chelsea Clinton /sarc

Criticized for wearing blue jeans? Oh the horror of it, last time I looked, blue jeans are clothes sure as grits are groceries.

Wife and I got married one Saturday morning at l0 am. We then changed clothes, went to the field and picked cotton (for three dollars a hundred weight) until dark. Our wedding dinner consisted of the father-in-law buying us a foot long chili dog at the old Log Cabin drive-in. We had neither the proverbial pot to pee in, or a window to throw it out of.

But, we have remained married for over 50 years. IMO, way too much is made of how a couple is married, and to little of what is in their hearts, as to love and commitment in making that marriage work. Without both committing to see a marriage through warts and all, it is all to often doomed from the start.
