So, a pragmatic approach executed in parallel (i.e., not sequentially):
(A) Put so much money/energy into the 2012 House and Senate races such that more "young Turks" replace all known RINOs and lame dim-0-crats - and the Congress becomes veto-proof. Now withhold funding and quickly start cutting budgets.
(B) Oversight becomes strictly adversarial - the Fed, the DoJ, ...
(C) War Powers Act is repealed ...
(D) Troops are brought home (e.g., Balkans, ...) and honored.
(E) Foreign Aid is cut ...
(F) Consitutional amendment for Ferderal Term Limits, including the Supreme Court. ...
We need to be beating him like a drum. Never said sequentially. Doesn’t matter if we have the votes ... does the Republican Party have the cajones to stand against this ‘sophomoric nation-destroying ‘ presidency.
Congress needs to step up and file bill after bill ... pass or not. Continually beating the discontent that is felt regarding his policies. Congress men/women and Senators need to speak clearly with one voice and work to gain similar thinkers across the aisle ... and there are a few.
The candidates need to step up to the plate and start hamming him in the road to the election. Unrelentingly hammering whether in a debate or in a press conference or where ever. Laying out solid alternatives ... not sound-bites like the Dems/President on what the ‘plan’ is.
The ‘power of the purse’ is one of the keys in confrontation at this time ... and we need a Congress not hesitant to use it. The ‘power of the purse’ can cut Presidents off at the knees, if Congress used it. It’s called ‘balance of powers’. Balance the President right out of the ‘park’.
However we may have a Congress with a majority of placaters in it, the go along to get along group that talk big during elections and goes back to their old ways, time after time.
