I have totally blanked out anything about this supposed cultist doomsday event but I am just beginning to wonder if I underestimate the amount of people that felt it truly possible.
Reason I wonder is this, two days ago an ex co-worker got ahold of me and literally gave away his 1985 Chevy K5 Blazer, it runs but has some issues, its ugly and needs a paint job, but the title and keys are now in my hand, not a penny spent on my part.
I just kinda wonder, why? he says he just cannot fix it and even then when he said that it felt just not right.
Anyway now I have a 4WD for one of my teen aged kids.
Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,
rapture
that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.
Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
“Anyway now I have a 4WD for one of my teen aged kids.”
I would think given the pathetic situation, you would return the vehicle to the fellow that gave it to you. Do you feel comfortable profiting off someone’s tragic mistake? Not the best lesson a parent can give a teenager unless you are raising a pack of huns.
