Only 9 months ago: Two More Massage Therapists Accuse Al Gore of Sexual Assault

How did Al Gore ask for a massage?

"The therapist claimed that when they were alone, Gore shrugged off a towel and stood naked in front of her." He then propositioned her for a sexual act
How many of the elite are held to any account? This starts at the local level too.

Vote for happily married men and women.

Maids don’t take the job for the chance to set up guests and international intrigue. It’s a low paying menial job, it is only done by people who REALLY need the job. And those that don’t get the work done don’t last long, as there are standards and a certain number of rooms that must be done during a shift.

Any regular business traveler or hotel employee knows that this simply happened as described. At the hotel where I worked, mgt had to weed out lazy maids, but the ones who stayed were just trying to do their jobs, did them well. There was one room that a european business traveler completely destroyed - and maids had to clean it. Every bodily substance all over everything. Took days. Just from eating and drinking. No one does that to a room unless they are a very arrogant partier.

Whenever I travel I always try to cut maids a break: leave the room virtually untouched and tip. I figure if 1 out of 20 rooms is easy, its a little, but it’s something (there are still numerous things they have to do even though everything is in order). Of course, not bothering them other than hello and goodbye is nice too.

Some men have absolutely disgusting attitudes towards maids. This guy is one that acts out his feelings. People sometimes do bizarre things in a hotel that they would never do at home. I had to have a guy taken away by the cops for throwing a garbage can through a glass door after a wedding party. I learned later the man was an attorney well into his 40’s. After a while I became quite used to calling the cops and having people thrown out. Once people sensed that I wasn’t putting up with anything, my nights became much easier and my guests a lot more polite. Kind of pathetic to have to be parent/drill sergeant for adults, but that’s life.

Everything and anything goes on in hotel rooms - guys like DSK feel that they will get away with anything, since the maids are afraid of customers. Remember the Ice Man, and the guy he killed in a NJ motel: the body was under the bed for weeks before it was discovered.

Too bad for the French liberals who are trying to convince themselves DSK was somehow set up by his rivals. This was simply a day in the life of DSK, the politician most recently caught doing something immoral.
