Ohio's congressional delegation is shrinking; Washington state's is growing. So with the prospect of losing his congressional seat to redistricting, Ohio congressman Dennis Kucinich is exploring a House run in Washington, far away from Cleveland, the city he was once the mayor of. “My district appears to be on the block, so I am looking at options, and I am not limiting those options to Ohio,” Kucinich told the New York Times.

Kucinich is like a cockroach running through the house, following the other cockroaches trail.

Turning politics into a “career”.

That is the problem right there.

And the laws we have become nothing more than resume enhancements in their eyes.

These people see their seats, the power, and the money as an entitlement. It has nothing to do with representing the interests of the people in their districts.

It’s amazing that politians can essentially chose their voters instead of the other way. Witness how Hillary Clinton moved to NY and how well that worked out for her. Simply unbelievable!

Why doesn’t he retire and live in the economy he helped to create?

Kucinich is like a cockroach running through the house, following the other cockroaches trail.

But you've got to admit that Ohio has given us some of the most entertaining Congressweenies in recent memory.

You've got moonbat Kucinich. Traficante. and the weeper.

Must be something in the water there.

Have you seen pictures of his wife?

Kissinger said, “Power is an aphrodisiac.”

The truth is that they have to turn politics into a career. They are unfit for anything else, and once they get onto that Government teat it is almost impossible to drag them off it.

Why would a good Attorney with good clients and a good practice go into politics.
What we get is the dregs, struggling attorneys, with no clients or little old ladies with estates they can steal from, running for office.

marko, how the heck can you compare a well-dressed patriotic straight shooter like Jimmy T to this Kucinich fruitball. BTW, Kucinich is perfect for Washington State!

Kucinich would kill to be a babe magnet like Jimmy T ("T" for toupée) instead of the little dweeb that he actually is. I am officially inviting Jimmy T to move to Maine and run as a Republican. Olympia, Suzy, and Jimmy: Maine could get back on the map!

And the little lady is borderline not guilty at best. I keep seeing all these posts about what a supposed babe she is. Pretty plain jane in my book.

She is quite attractive... but she gets double bonus points simply by standing next to him, hence babe status.

I have got a question here about this odious antic. Let us say that this goofball does manage to convince another State’s Congressional District to elect him, does his seniority go with him?

I think that it does because it is an accepted fact that when a Representative changes districts within a State, his seniority transfers as well. So Dennis can go play elsewhere and the circus that surrounds his Planet Bizzaro will travel with him. How so very nice.

You’d think people would be turned off by these carpetbagger opportunists. Kucinich moves 3/4 of the way across the country and he thinks he’s going to be elected in a district he knows nothing about? That whole mindset smacks of entitlement.

I think they should not end his seat. they should take apart Marcie Kaptur and turn Betty Sutton into a red seat. They could move Kucinich into loraine countywhichis dem but less so and he could lose there maybe. You will be down 2-3 Dem seats if you play it right.
