This is a heartwarming story about a young man who was rescued from the tornado after being buried alive in the debris. This story also has a subtext about the complicity of the media in hiding illegals and helping illegals break laws. Notice the article and the video at the link. Neither the rescued or his friend are named. No one knows who they are and where they are from. I am happy that the man is alive, but sad that we have a hobbled law enforcement and an anti-American media.

#1 : you didn’t post an excerpt from the article.
#2 : that’s quite an assumption about “a subtext” of “hiding illegals and helping illegals break laws.”
The night of the tragedy in Joplin, the Weather Channel correspondent on the scene (amidst all the devastation and destruction and loss of lives) was quick to point out a silver lining: a puppy had just been rescued and was alive. Now I love animals as much as anyone but really a silver lining was getting a puppy to safety. They have to fill their live spots with something I suppose.
I mis-posted the segment.
Why is it a leap?
Look at the article and watch the vid. No names just pictures even when the “friend” is interviewed. When one is interviewed for tv the first thing asked is for names.
Doesn’t take a weatherman to tell which way the wind blows.
Manipulation press.
And where do you think these “illegals” are from?
Look South or Central American or Middle eastern to me.
He looks like my cousin, except for the extra doughnut rings around the mid-section.
Maybe you should go check my cousin’s papers. He only served in the Marine Corps, was born in Texas to natural born citizens (whose family was in Texas before Texas was independent), and runs his own business.
But I guess he looks illegal. Deport him!
Your last guess of Middle eastern is the most likely judging from the appearance of the man in the white shirt & his accent, which btw is not real heavy.
I don’t assume he’s illegal. Sorry that you do.
Your cousin’s name would have been in the article and on the vid. He is a proud citizen and they would have mentioned that he served.
The game is not naming the names when it is inconvenient.
I do because they are not named. In most all news stories victims of feel good stories are named.
Why would they not be named? Especially in a televised interview?
It’s a British paper. Maybe the names didn’t matter.
Yup, they probably don't.
They also don't have 11-20 million illegal Mexicans in their country either.
Its a British paper. Maybe the names didnt matter.
It is a US story with a US reporter on the vid
They also don’t have 11-20 million illegal Mexicans in their country either.
Exactly.
This is an ABC newsstory.
