As I was loading my home defense magazines a while back I was thinking... “if I have to change mags this many times, there’s something really serious going on...”
Think Zombie Apocalypse, but instead of reanimated corpses, or victims of some designer virus, the zombies are marauding punks and thugs whose government assistance stops when the government goes completely bankrupt and the food stamp cards are worthless.
I have 3 16-round mags for my XD 9mm, but at times I think I should probably get 3 more. For general concealed carry purposes, I can’t see ever needing more than 48 shots, but it will probably be a good idea to always be prepared for an extended session of double-taps to the zombies if it comes to it.
