You know, I thought the same thing myself, but given that she was KNOWN to have traveled to Washington State by herself with an infant in tow makes it at least within the realm of possibility.
Um, it is not that long a drive to travel from Canada to Mercer Island, with an infant, in a borrowed car, especially if she didn’t have to do the driving because a friend was using her mother’s borrowed car.
