Rand Paul is right.
The government’s abuse of the constituitonal rights of citizens in the name of fighting domestic terrorism has “progressed” to become terrorism itself!
They are creating a KGB.

Do you know the difference between “encylopedic” and “any”?
Which of your rights are infringed by the Patriot Act?

You claim cause and effect where none exists.
GPS tracking is NOT a function of the P.A. and neither are 4473 searches.
Obama has a ton of over-reaching policy and none is tied to the P.A.

Be careful. Be very careful. Comparing a member of Congress with a used car salesman is a insult to automobile salespeople everywhere and could result in your being challenged to a duel. :0 Flintlock pistols at 90 paces?

- ...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said. [Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften [immigration, gay marriage] stance]
- One day after announcing on his radio show that he is "truly considering" running in 2014 for the U.S. Senate seat now held by New Jersey's Frank Lautenberg, Rivera amped up his message today in a television interview and a column on the Fox News Latino website... a moderate Republican who is fiscally conservative but also supports gay marriage and Roe v. Wade... [Geraldo Rivera declares himself a 'moderate Republican' as he eyes U.S. Senate run]

The patriot act is anything but patriotic. Let it expire!
We already know that the Islamofascist extremists want to kill us, but giving unconstitutional powers to a quasi-socialist/fascist government isn’t going to help. At best, it replaces one tyrant with another. At it worst, it creates allies in the war against the people of the US.

Just because nobody has explained classified details to you, doesnt mean your conclusions are correct. Yeah, those secret union meetings to discuss what new color uniforms to get, and how many muslims and illegal aliens they need to hire to keep the corrupt thing going, and snooping on Americans - with no possibility of mission creep, honest - is really keeping us free.

Paul....is an embarrassment to conservatives on too many issues. I'd take 100 Rand Paul over the craven, feckless spineless jellyfish conservatives that populate the Senate today...
I can easily "live" with the issues you find so embarrassing to conservatives...
