The Patriot Act should die in its entirety, and I hope that Sen. Paul and others vote to end it.

A government that is unwilling to fight a war to victory overseas (and I include Bush as well as Obama here) has NO justification to demand war powers at home.

Agreed. Warrantless wiretapping and unfettered business record gathering of people unconnected to terrorists is outrageously broad power to give to the government.
