Amen.
My first thought is that if I knew I had enough time to get there, and it was indeed an F5, I would seek out the nearest supermarket, since their walk-in freezers are usually able to withstand the winds better than anything else. That's what saved the people in Joplin that made the YouTube video.
Me too. My heart just sank, I felt like I was going to throw up and then the tears flowed. Listening to the Father, I just don't know how he was able to make it through the announcement. My heart and prayers truly go out to this man. I have two sons, I cannot imagine the grief he must be suffering.
This poor family. I can’t even imagine the grief and pain that they are experiencing.
I saw the same piece you did. He seemed like a bright, fun, engaging young man with his life in front of him. I doubt he will be found alive, but I hope they find his body. How sad.
I hear the Westboro freaks are going to picket in Joplin on Sunday.
RIP.
There’s been an outpouring of generosity towards this family:

Charity is alive and well.
