“In a follow-up Toronto Star story on Monday, the couple told the newspaper that they have decided not to conduct any additional interviews.

“We don’t want them to feel like exotic bugs, and when consulted, they said no thanks to more media attention,” Witterick wrote the newspaper in an email.”

The parents are responsible for releasing their demented decision to the public, and now they don’t wish to feel like “exotic bugs”? Well, the dye has been cast. They wanted attention, and now they’re getting. Not only were the parents complete selfish in using their child to make a public spectacle and statement, they are also disturbed to raise their child as if there is no gender.

And one’s a teacher, no less.

Well, the dye has been cast.

And it won't wash out. Stains are like that.

There is the well known case in Canada in which (twin?) boys were neutered and raised as girls at the direction of a nut case psychiatrist who believed gender is completely determined by environment. There may have been a more recent single case, IIRC, the boy eventually threatened to kill the doctor involved, and eventually committed suicide.

Not sure why people are saying this is all new, or that it isn’t already known denying a child’s gender has disastrous effects.
