I understand how you could take my post on Phelps, but it certainly wasn’t meant the way you took it...nor did it deserve your nasty insinuations.
My neice is a grown woman of 27. I love her, but I do not ‘support’ her lifestyle. How much clearer can I get?
I hope you help her and tell her that she needs to wake up and that what she is doing could hurt her.
You made it exceedingly clear, Pen. Clear enough for one as dense as me to understand it. Homosexuality knows no bounds, much like drug addiction, alcoholism, and so on and so on. It effects the lives of many ... regardless of political affiliation. I know a few good families who have been cursed by the damnable demonic plague created by society’s acceptance of it. Of that acceptance, we all are guilty or are related to someone who is by having not stood up sooner to its evil being forced upon us and our children (or youth, otherwise).
The strong stance against it (homosexuality) is one of the many reasons I appreciate FR and Jim Robinson. Homosexuality is a curse upon mankind propelled ever forward by ungodly leaders for evil reasons, and this site takes it seriously enough to try its best to vote out those who stand in favor of it.
I pray for your niece that Jesus take hold of her and guide her away from her current lifestyle and the bondage in which society as a whole is partially guilty of having placed her by not taking a stronger stand against it before it reached the point of being labeled an “Alternative Lifestyle” ... or whatever it’s going by these days.
May God richly bless FreeRepublic for its strong stance against homosexuality - an abomination is His sight - and for trying to save what’s left of our youths’ innocence.
You are a good soul. We should all remember that we all have sinned and fallen short, and have needed the help and understanding of others from time to time. Further, that whoever the person is who is chosen is who God deems fit to carry out HIS work and deserves our prayers and help. You can know that you have mine, Pen.
It reads from your posts that you certainly have given your best to her. She is blessed to have you in her life. I can appreciate your struggle, and pray that God keep you in His care and grant you the wisdom to guide her to free her from the bondage in which she lives daily.
