You’re wrong. You’ve got to draw attention, directly and personally to the man and his failures. These cannot be just policy missteps, but must point out that the person himself is incapable of leading.

Ignore Romney and think on the importance of destroying Obama as a viable alternative in the minds of the mushy middle. That’s the ground we’re fighting for.

I actually thought it was kind of funny. A nice “rules for radicals” type tactic.

And sending leftover pizza to Obama’s re-election office does this how?

I can’t disagree with the basic arguments you are making on this thread, but I have to disagree with your praise of this particular ‘stunt’. It’s just plain dumb. It’s not funny or cute. It’s not even an effective insult. If anything, it stems from the whole idea that the Democrats are ‘opponents’ and not our enemy. Hey, we’re all on the same side, doing the same job, so let’s share our pizza with the Obama campaign workers.

When your enemies consider you their enemy and you only consider them ‘opponents’, you have ZERO chance of winning.

If anything, this little stunt highlights exactly what is wrong with Romney and his ilk and precisely why they should be avoided at all costs.
