This can’t be... everyone here think Perry’s a RINO....
Every time... EVERY time he starts seeing the next election... he suddenly swings right, and people all over this great state who don’t pay attention except in the months leading up to the election only ever see his faux conservative act.
He IS a RINO.
OMG! That RINO Perry passed this? OMG OMG OMG! I can’t believe it. Seriously, a lot of people in Texas have Perry derangement syndrome. I just don’t see it. You’d think Texas was North Korea the way some people talk and it’s anything but.
I defend Rick Perry here every opportunity. He’d make us a good president.
I think he’s somewhat conservative and has some ruling class attitudes. And very canny.

There are varying degrees of RINOism. After all, Perry did support most conservative initiatives in the state. What pegs him as a RINO is his lax border and illegal alien stance and his unforgivable support for the Trans-Texas Corridor.

I think he is part of the RINO country club elite - conservative only during election season - sell us all out in the end!
He IS a RINO but he does the right thing now and then. Not that it was hard in this case - what was he goign to do, veto it? It’s easy to override the Gov in Texas-one reason they say the governor is weak here.
