I don’t know, seems to be alot of talk about him lately. I’m nowhere near up to speed on Perry, so for now I’m just reading what others have to say.

I might be misreading this, but it seems the Republican establishment is desperately looking for someone to promote, out of fear that their current candidates aren't going to be able to withstand the challenge from another Governor (whom they have no control over) who looks ready to declare.
