Can’t wait to see how saddened and dismissive the FOX allstars are that Palin is obviously in. Will they be wearing Black Vails?

Pray for America

Please do not confuse the Flat Tax (West) with the Fair Tax (Cain).

Doesn't matter. I repeat for either/both -- ain't gonna happen. Politicians have too much invested in the current tax system. It makes an excellent political football.

Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace - 2:00PM or 6:00PM E.

Congressman Allen West-Conservative,
Congresswoman Donna Edwards-Progressive debate the issues.

Let’s invite all our liberal friends and family members to watch the debate to see different views on the issues facing our country. Seeing Congressman West in action perhaps will help some liberals to see the truth!

Indeed.

On the This-is-Weak panel, did you see Donna Brazille singing Sarah's praises on how she can do whatever she wants and not have to follow the Republican play book?

Is McCain done yet?

I've been saying that for years...and they should have professional messages for each state, paid by the RNC, hosted by the state committees...

...on LOCAL CABLE CHANNELS during pop-crap and sporting events. It's cheap and effective!

Love the Billie boy Krystal logic, you must be a Tea party favorite but you can’t be Palin. Then claims Perry is a TP favorite...er...ah...acceptable. Talk about circular logic.

Good question. Maybe Memorial Day weekend, but no news value on the shows today unless it’s West.

BTW thanks Alas.

Morning AB, All....

As always, thank you AB for doing this thread.

Happy Memorial Day to yon readers.

Sang at the 8:30 am mass this morn, dear Lord the pews were packed, the vestibule was packed, the choir loft was pack, down the aisles. And that’s just the early mass!

It is the official start of the summer in these swamps of Delaware which just happens to have an ocean.

Husband and I begin to complain about the tourists about this time and we stop sometime around Labor Day. Saw a bumper sticker: “Welcome to the Ocean. NOW GO HOME!”

Mowed lawn last night, watered gardens, cleaned the pond, weeded. Singing and church this morn now staying in for rest of holiday but if not too hot might work on gardens.

Watching Meet the Depressed, will be joining in on any discussion.

Unfortunately you are right.

I Just watched McConnell get beat up time after time by DNC Dave. He needs to take a lesson from Guy Benson--the blogger on how to handle the DBM. Take over don't let them control the agenda..........

Meanwhile the Big appearance was made by Chuck U,(aka Chuck the Schmuck)Shoomer, who was well prepared for his blab fest with DNC Dave.

Evidently in a effort to get in all his DNC points the lizard had to touch base with Bubba as well.

DNC Dave is loaded with chatting points to preserve what life the commiecrats have and his main thrust is killing the Ryan plan at any cost and never ever saying the word OBAMACARE.

Chuck U starts out by claiming that "our side wants to end medicare" of course all they have is the ability to demagogue Ryans' plan they offer no plan themselves don't dare bring up Obamacare by name and know that Medicare is going broke and Medicaid(which they don't dare mention) is even worse. What they fail to say is as important or more so than what they do say.

DNC Dave tries to come up with what our side will inevitably do by telling Chuck U that "the dems have no plan, why?" Chuck U's entire thrust is to suggest that the current system is just fine just needs a few tweaks not the suggestions in Ryans' plan which will save SS.

With the commiecrats its all politics all the time, never mind reality. Only what will get them re-elected. Shoomer says as much by inferring "I have studied it, anyone who gets extreme with medicare will lose" he as much tells what dem strategy is--not to offer a plan since all they care about is winning!!!Just too good shoomer is so dumb he tells what they are doing!!

What struck me is just how scared they are of even uttering the word obamacare. they won't do it they must know it polls bad people don't want it and they are running away from it as fast as they can.

Get this. Some dem gal on the MTP panel just said Obamas job is to get people(voters) to believe that the economy is on a good path, just too good! Forget reality its all BS and they readily admit it!!All you have to do is listen to these clowns and they give away what they are up to!!

Shoomer-- blame the problem of medicare on providers, not govt. mgmt.,drugs are too much, doctors charge too much, insurance companies, he wants to cut fees(the rats hate Free Enterprise) knowing that doctors will just come up with more charges to get what they need. He knows Ryans' plan is the only way we need voucher system where everyone has skin in the game or it won't work.

The entire thing is throwing granny over the Cliff it's all they have.

Meanwhile back to Shoomer. He refers to Obamacare as "last years bill" does not dare say obamcare--** This has to be huge issue with the dems, no mention of Obmacare. If our side is smart we will say the words Obamacare over and over and over since it does not poll well for them we will get a lot of traction if we do.

The overall theme is stated by shoomer--pubbies want to end medicare as we know it--while all the while knowing that medicare as we know it is unsustainable with 10k boomers a week signing on,he never mentions any of that.

Shoomers mantra is that we are extreme and he threatens us with if you are extreme you will lose.

He as much as admits that dems will do anything to stay in power and really don't care about saving SS only staying in power--just too good if our side will use it.

MTP was a slam dunk for us if we just use what they said.

So far I watched part of Fox News Sunday. They totally disrespected Sarah Palin on the panel. Chris Wallace as always, has a smirk on his face when he asks about Sarah Palin.

Bill Kristol could only smirk as he spoke of her, basically it was implied that he feels she is a joke. He went on to suggest she was not serious, has done nothing to suggest she is running, has done none of the necessary things that one would have to do if serious.

But Kristol went on to totally contradict himself in the 2nd segment when he spoke of Perry and “others that he likes” that he said are in no rush at all to jump in to the race. He said that Sept would be fine for anybody (he liked) to still get in.

But according to Billy, Palin would have to be already completely organized by now for a serious run, but folks (RINO`s) that he likes can easily get in as late as Sept.

Bill Kristol went from being one of Sarah`s biggest supporters to her biggest critic? Maybe Sarah questioned his manhood or something??? Any way I have no use for Kristol or Wallace. I turned away the moment they finished trashing Sarah. I think Bill and Chris should both get in touch with this really talented taxidermist I know, he does excellent work.

I also monitored McCain interview, really made a point of only tuning in to the very end of the conversation, because I know Chrissy would ask him about Sarah....I was actually surprised because it was the nicest thing he has said about her in a very long time. Do I think he will say more unkind things about her? Yes I suspect he will.

FNC is so dishonest by showing the WSJ poll with Palin favor ability at 25%...First off, the WSJ is a liberal outfit aside from the editorial page (and even that is in question)

Also their polling has zero credibility, teamed up with NBC and Chuck Todd, thirdly they ask all adults, used every method possible to get the worst possible result. Chris Matthews is NOT a journalist.

Byron York never offered a opinion of Sarah Palin, yes we read his article during the week, but for some reason Chris only wanted Kristol`s and Sheena Easton`s opinion on Gov Palin.

Wow this is so good!! I hope everyone gets a chance to read it. Really gives a behind the scenes look at who the dems are and what they are up to. Extremely well done bray.

West mentions flat tax. [Sorry, but that ain’t gonna happen — not with West, not with Cain.]

The Fair Tax won't happen anytime soon.  The flat, or flatter, tax is doable once Republicans add control of the Senate and Presidency.  Eric Cantor has a plan to move taxes in that direction and I hope Republicans move to support his plan. I am certain 0zero will veto anything passed today but it's a start and can be used in the upcoming 2012 campaign.

If I remember right, Cain supports the Fair Tax.  I don't know his opinion on a flat tax.  I know Steve Forbes, the late Milton Friedman and Arthur Laffer all support a flat tax.

Notice when Edwards used the unpaid for wars cliche she threw in unpaid for perscription drug bill? Bush never should have signed that Democrat bill.

Sorry Bray, but the prescription Drug bill was a Republican bill. The final bill passed the House 220-215 with 204 Reps voting for in along with 16 Dems.

It passed the Senate 54-44 with 42 Reps voting for it.

Karl Rove was the force behind this bill. It was part of his strategy to preempt Dem issues like health care and education (No Child Left Behind.)
