Sadly Americans did nothing. In tandem with TV propaganda was public education. Which came first? Of course it was your neighborhood public school, university and academia, where we also ignored the obvious, preferring to sleep through a larger than life take-over which is in full swing even today.

I never boughtt a TV until 1990 while my wife was pregnant with our first. I got rid of the damned thing in March of 1995.
