Having done the same thing, I can take a guess at the answer: sunscreen. The lightweight cotton will not roast her if she chose the right shirt, and cotton is a whole lot more durable, comfortable, and photogenic than many sunscreen formulations with a similar SPF. As much as I love Sarah, I'd guess that she falls short in the area of tanning, and constantly reapplying sunscreen anywhere that it might have rubbed off would distract and detract from her tour (although I'd guess there are thousands of FReepers who would volunteer to take over that responsibility for the duration of her tour) as would missing a spot and getting a severe sunburn on a bare patch. I could be wrong, but that makes sense to me.
Well, I had my five-year-old and he was getting antsy after an hour of walking around, and plus the park was getting ready to close, and so I made the decision to go on over to the media circus at the Pennsylvania monument to see if they had pulled in there. Patience is a virtue I guess.
I switched on FOX last evening, and as my bad luck would have it, kraut-hammer was pontificating about the bus tour.
The other pundits on with this imbecile were all talking about how "dis-organized" Mrs. Palin's "election tour" was; and all about how well organized Mrs. Bachman's is...or will be!!!! Their comments show how truly upset all these minor "players" are about not getting the inside dope on where Mrs. Palin will go next - as if, somehow, it was their god-given right to know! Whiners all!
I became so violently angry at listening to the imbicile's insipid, lisping, spun comentary, that I switched to another channel.
FOX is wrong! "Fair and Balanced" I'll buy. But they no longer produce that. In it's place, they present the likes of juan williams - a whinny, defensive, no-nothing black, and the insipid, lisping opinionated imbicile kraut-hammer.
I can sure as hell do without FOX....and shall.
