Columbus is a small city; Los Angelos is huge. Ohio State coaches had to know what was going on within their team more than USC.

Ohio State deserves to be hit with penalties at least as harsh as USC.

Anyone want to bet against some Ohio State supporter hiring a PI to find out what really happened with Cam Newton at Auburn?

I live in the South. CFB is king. How do you think the SEC has won the last 5 BCS Championships...all the teams in the SEC compete against each other for the best players. If you don’t think that some of these elite players are being “incentivized” to attend one school over another you are naive.

You must be a geography major. Columbus is the CAPITAL of the state of Ohio, the very seat of government. So don’t believe there isn’t a lot of wealth and power in Columbus. Plus, Ohio State is a city within a city.

USC’s campus meanwhile is a postage stamp compared to the scale of LA. At least at UCLA they have a true campus environment. USC is for the most part a commuter school.

So if USC can’t keep their athletes on campus they have to do a better job of montioring their activities.
