they were trying to keep the memorials solemn, and dancing was against the rules.
Kokesh and CODE PINK founder Medea Benjamin went there to intentionally violtate those rules, and after being warned politely, they openly began dancing and kissing in public in direct objection to the cops, to instigate a fight
kokesh was handcuffed, sat down, and when he tried to get up and walk away after his arrest, he was slammed, unfortunately he wasn’t slammed hard enough

This was a PLANNED act
I posted the full video links on this 2 days ago, kokesh PLANNED to do this, this was NOT a spontaneous event, it was a deliberate act of breaking the law by the very people who gave $400,000 dollars to the Iraqi Mujahadeen to kill Americans

How dare teh government regulate behaviour at national parks. (Sarcasm a mile wide)
Evidently you missed teh spate of wildings by certain groups over the weekend. As the population of this country loses the ability to regulate itself, we become more dependent on the government to play nanny. I wonder if people who think this was a violation of the 1st Amendment would allow people to protest ANYWHERE, in any manner, at any time?
Note they conveniently ignore "peacably to assemble."
In other words, there are qualifiers in the Bill of Rights.
