I want to be your daughter in another life! I still can’t believe she has graduated from college - she is supposed to be a freshman in high school, no wait, she was in 7th grade when I met you! Oh my.
Thanks : ) time flies when we are having fun! she starts today. She was really ready to be done with school but is not thrilled with the idea of earning leave etc, rather than days off for school breaks. I do think they are given the week between Christmas and NYs off, bc the ofc closes, which is a huge boon!

Only a few places. In what did your daughter major?
politics/legal studies. before you start to bash, xshub and i are both lawyers, and we have both counseled her to take a year or two off before deciding on law school. it’s what we did and the legal job market is pretty horrific right now. she is extremely lucky to have a job, most of the phi beta kappas from her class do not have jobs. did you know you can get phi beta kappa while a “Fine Arts-specializing in Ceramics” major? we did not....but there was one graduating from UD.
Why on earth would I? My #2 son will probably go in that direction; he's constantly acing tests in anything that involves words.
I suppose if any Fine Arts major can earn PBK, they couldn't exclude ceramics ;-). It doesn't seem like the most practical education, but people make a living at it, and you'd always have attractived table-ware ...
If you think about it, we have “smart appliances” so why not “smart tableware” made by a PBK?
i want dishes that fill themselves and wash themselves, if they are made by PBKs!
