IIRC statistics place 80% of poverty in homes run by single-moms without HS degrees, pregnant in their teens. The breakdown of the black family at the hands of The Great Society is the institution of a modern, more vicious slavery than you can understand.
It has left a generation at the mercy of race-baiting poverty pimps who agitate for just this kind of justice. It’s revenge promulgated upon young, angry youths looking for an excuse to act.

You’re right, though, these young people don’t lack for material goods once reserved for the wealthy. They lack for the spiritual goods available to all through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that and a loving human father to shepherd them right.
Obama’s dreams of his father, absent, distant and radical, are coming true for millions of black youth.
