As I have argued with one of my friends,
it’s like two guys sitting in a row boat, and one of them saying, “ha ha, your end is going to sink.” When a row boat starts sinking, EVERYBODY is going to get wet.
Yes, depending on the situation, some may get wetter than others - but nobody will escape cleanly. I grew up listening to my Dad and his brother talk about the great depression. The people from the slums and the people from the big house on the hill were all standing around the street corner wondering what would happen next.
I really hope to never see those stores played out in real life.
