If he had announced that he was running for President and someone did this he would have secret service. If he was President than yes someone should be questioned. She would get secret service if she would announce. The problem right now is she is doing this as a private citizen and is not authorized for any protection from tax payers.

Exactly. The establishment (of which the liberal media is a part) took Obama over Hillary, and then McCain out of sentiment. It will take Obama over Palin out of sheer self-interest. The Bushes were simply another branch of the establishment. Reagan and Nixon were in it if not exactly of it. Palin has the ability to do things they could never imagine doing if only because she doesn’t have decades of dinner party buddies to be appalled by it.
