Change trends by influencing the people around you with positive action.
My daddy, for instance, works with people with substance abuse problems through his church back home. He, himself, had quite a struggle with alcohol in his younger days, and now gives to others by fighting the idea they hold that they are “alcoholics,” or whatever.
“Socialism” is a concept, not a being. It exists in people’s minds, and so can be fought through friendly persuasion. It’s not as easy or immediately satisfying as screaming, insulting, or belittling people like an adolescent, but working one-on-one does wonders.
Rationality is adults conversing...and voting...etc.
Changing “us” won’t change hardcore liberals. It won’t change Dem vote fraud either. And if you’ve ever read DU you’d know that “friendly persuasion” isn’t going to work. That does not belittle in any way what your Dad says or does. He sounds like a great man. It just doesn’t apply to people with hatred in their hearts and greed in their souls.
One of the best posts I recall seeing at FR, recently at least. Let’s win back the country for our kids and (hopefully) grandkids.
