Now an indictment is not a conviction, and Edwards is as sleazy a lawyer as has ever crawled up out of the primordial ooze.
Plus, the DOJ is headed by Holder/Obama. Do you really think they will send Edwards to jail, once the threat of any political future is neutralized?
My money is on an indictment followed by months and years of negotiations, followed by a plea bargain with no jail time, and a slow fade to obscurity.
