Public Policy Polling - Democrat polling agency (as noted at the bottom of their press release: http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/PPP_Release_IA_0602.pdf)
but the real problem, if PPP is to be believed, is this: “Obama leads by 19 to 38 points with independents, and
takes 7-13% of the GOP vote”
now why would that be? why is zero leading with independents that he would have 1/3 of their vote? what will it take to wooo them?

How much credence does a poll from Seattle, with under 1,400 respondents, have? Did they take it from Starbucks patrons?

So you are actually giving credence to these polls? Polls which match a sitting President against (in this case) an unannounced candidate? Before any campaigning has begun? In a state which more often than not trends liberal? Eighteen months before the general election?
I suspect that if you went back to June, 2007 and found a similar poll, it would show Rudy and Hillary in a close race with everyone else far behind. How'd that turn out?

Obama 55, Sarah Palin 35
So, you're going to believe a Public Policy Poll that has Obama's Approval rating at the following in a Conservative/Moderate state like Iowa?
Q1 Do you approve or disapprove of President Barack Obamas job performance? Approve .......................................................... 49% Disapprove...................................................... 45% Not sure .......................................................... 6%
These numbers for a conservative/moderate state are 180 degrees backwards from all polls from a reputable polling organization such as Rassmussen and you would try to use it on a conservative web-site to prove what?
You are going to try and provide that as proof from an organization whose polls are routinely debunked as leaning far to the left in their sampling?
Really?
Do you not pay attention or is it that you don't care how tainted your evidence is, just so long as it casts Sarah Palin in a negative light?
