Another attack against Palin and family. Have the Obama girls gotten this kind of exposure?

“Maybe I read it wrong - but is that a snarky little hit piece on Piper?
Certainly sounded like it. The woman presenting it sounded how old Piper is, and Piper more the age of the woman presenting the news. Liberalism is a mental disease.”

Yeah that’s Jeanie Moos. She does a lot of snarky reports for CNN.

Just maybe Mom's idea is to expose and train Piper from the get go how to handle the press, knowing that she will always be a target.

Good training for living her teen years in the White House, I'd say. ;o)

The perverted cabal of mouth breathing swine that we call "The Press" has been way out of bounds on the treatment of this family since 2008. They never treated Web Hubbell's kid that way. I'm no Palin zombie, but even I see red at the way the Palin's have been screwed over. Something smarmy and European (redundant?) about your post.

ABSOLUTELY I AGREE - the ms press is vile and continues it's machinations against all conservatives and Sarah Palin continues to be the highlighted target in their evil work.

As far as smarmy... let me pull all the smarm out somehow. I guess I'm just remembering when chelsy clintonista I think, there was a big brew haha over her saying something, I forget, but I seem to remember people saying, hey, since chelse chose to say something, she injected herself into politics, so she is fair game for the press. Which I agree with - in the sense that if I'm a politician and my kid makes public statements politically supporting me - well, then the press can start to cover them as they would a pundit or politician. And if the press starts hounding my kid, how can I then want the press to "leave my kid alone" ?

That's an IMHO, do you think it sounds reasonable, or am I missing something ?

As far as the European, well, I'm of euro descent, but my ancestors arrived in America between the mid 1600's to the mid 1800's and never went back, so my nationality is American. My ethinicity is European. As far as Europeans being smarmy, I don't think that's necessarily always true. I certainly had no intent to be smarmy in my post. I know that FR supports Sarah Palin, but in the enthusiasm for any candidate - especially good conservative ones like her - I think it's wise to sometimes listen to "thoughts" that might be helpful in success. I really want whoever the candidate is, if they get elected, to succeed. I'd offer the same caution to every good conservative candidate, that is, being careful about how family is included in the spotlight. Just my opinion, just trying to be a helpful voice of reason, not trying to say anything negative about any good conservative candidate. My preference at this point is Cain, but I'd vote for Santorum, out of the declared candidates. If Sarah Palin and / or Michele Bachmann and / or Jim DeMint declared, I personally could support any of them as well.

IOWs a politician's children aren't actual children. If a ten year old politician's child opens his or her mouth he or she is then equivalent to an adult pundit or politician. Interesting fantasy.

I called this one in 2008. When Sarah came to GA to stump for Sen. Chambliss’s runoff, my sign said “Piper 2036.”

Sorry for the attitude. Thanks for your reply.

By the way, my family are relative newcomers having arrived in the early part of the 20th century.

Whoa.

IMHO, this is what I’ve observed. You come out and attack my faith and my “Christian charity” and accuse me of being a hypocrite because I’ve seen Piper come across at times with a little bit of an attitude. I’ve qualified it by saying it’s part of her age, and part of the situation she’s in. But she does have an attitude.

And it’s not just her poking her mom three times to stop talking to other people when her mom keeps telling her to wait a minute, that makes me think that. I’ve seen the show, all episodes.

Sarah’s put her children out front and center. I’m sure I’m not the only person who’s noticed this. It is what it is.

Goodnight, sweet dreams. I’m not doing any flame wars tonight.

"Gotta love Piper Palin. She’s been a constant fixture at her mother’s side since Sarah ran for VP in 2008. Can you imagine how much this child has learned about the world in all that time?

She’s gonna be some kinda dangerous one day."

I have noticed the same. It is obvious to me what Sarah is doing with Piper. Sarah is mentoring and teaching Piper in the best school that God has provided to prepare her for her future and her mission in life. There is more than one Palin in America's future.

Mr. Sol.

I must be in the minority because I didn’t find it a hit piece at all. I thought it was oddly well done, especially coming from CNN.

Glad my computer finally behaved so I could watch it at last.

Thanks for posting.
