Exactly! She is actually baiting the media and talking heads to jump on her “mistakes” only to later confirm that she is correct.

I now see her quote was he “warned” the British in a defiant way not to mess with us. Accurate, and not at all the way I first heard it, as if she had said his ride was to warn the British.
The way this was said doesn’t rise to the level of a gaffe, even if Revere hadn’t done any “warning” of the British at all.
