You know what? That Obama quote has been misstated from day one. He didn't actually say there were 57 states. He said he's been to 57 states, with one left to go, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. By my math, Obama believes there are 60 States not 57.

I think it was a slip of the mind and tongue for Obama to use the number 57. Someone on FR once mentioned there are 57 Muslim countries in the world. I haven’t confirmed this but tend to believe Obama would know the number.

This is correct, RT. Just listen to the quote, he thinks there are 60. Everyone saying 57 all the time has always bugged me.
